The rest were driven from Israel, and established themselves in Carthage where they spoke the same language, and practiced the same beliefs. This should be obvious, given that modern "Jews" worship Moloch and Baal, which are the ancient Canaanite gods who demanded the sacrifice of children in burnt offerings, ie. literal definition of holocaust.
