what's weird is it was intermittent itching and the intensity varied wildly almost as if something was in my eye, but nothing was. after it woke me up it wasn't even that bad, but had just enough frequency and intensity that there was no shot i would be able to fall back asleep. ended up taking a shower which made it itch much more until the moment that i got out when it went away completely until i woke up at a regular time, now it itches again
