>>17300604>i'm curious how badly that's going to fuck up the next generationIt'll be like us but even worse and way more widespread.
I have my bets on at least the US part of society collapsing either this next generation of people or the one right after. When all the kids currently E-RP'ing on Roblox or watching their 800th YouTube short of the day grow up and have to make sure everything doesn't fall apart when the people running things now get too old.
Sure, there's always been your fair share of weirdos in pretty much every generation and things still kept up, but now it's just about every single kid being given the internet and having it replace their parents to a large extent.
This time around it's not one in however many that manages to get too much free time with the computer on their hands, it's every toddler having it shoved in their throat and consuming all the "for kids" garbage on the internet every waking second of their life. I think it's also fair to consider the state of the internet now compared to then and how it serves to fuck with people's brains even more. Not a new thing at all to say that muh technology bad, but it's like it has reached a boiling point.
If they don't do things in, then it'll definitely be the people that come after because they'll somehow manage to be even worse than what's coming up now.
I just don't see how anyone in the future is going to want to do anything when their wirings are fried from elementary age. I say because I feel like it'll result in more than just some loss of attention span. The sheer amount of brainrot will be glorious.
>wonder when anythings actually gonna be done about itProbably never. Too much money being made and nobody already influenced by it is going to stop it.
It's whatever really. I'm personally praying for things to go as much to shit as possible because a good clown world is best. That's generic to say but it genuinely is one of my reasons for living.
Charlim.
