I could swear that there's an angel whose specific job it is to make you feel you've done a good job, only to take your efforts and invalidate them -- to taunt you with your failure, but in a context where you've only failed because the angel has said so.
Basically, the angel's job is to make you work for the sole reason to make you feel like your work isn't good enough.
Is that a real thing, or am I confusing it with some Kafka interpretation or something?
