>>12439398This isn't about beauty. Not every woman is beautiful, neither is every man. All I was saying is that trans women don't look like women to me. But wasn't I saying that you are more than your gender as well? Which is why I don't understand why you'd be so fixated on the fact that I can't see a trans woman as a woman. There is more to a person than that, and we both agree.
>The difference here is that, where one is open to a more expansive definition, the other is closed to any kind of change. Now being open minded means that you are willing to listen to the other and consider their point of view. It doesn't mean that you blindly agree with everything they say. I listened, I considered what they had to say, and I came to agree with the psychological aspect. But I just don't see the biological. And to me a woman (or a man) is not just one of these things, but a combination of both. That is my personal perspective on the matter.
About persecuted groups, that was my mistake. I don't consider myself persecuted so my comparison was inappropriate. I still believe that some of you want to force everybody to agree with them and to hurt those who don't. Many from the other side are certainly guilty of that too, I never denied it.
But what are you suggesting, in the end? That I should change my views out of charity? But I don't wish to persecute them. I certainly won't go up to them and tell them that they're not real women irl. I have no reason to hurt people who did nothing to me. But here I can express my honest opinions, can't I?
>But forget me for a second, what about your own child? Would you allow them to transition if they wanted?I can't give you an answer, because I don't want to think about such things. I highly doubt I'll ever have children anyway, so I don't think there's a high chance I'll find myself in that situation.
>it depends on whose perspective the story is fromIt'll be in third person, but I'll be focusing more on the nun's parts.
