>harder to immerseHm. I guess it depends who's doing the reading. Some of them are kind of uninspired but there are others who give it some flare. I listened to a reading of the old man and the sea by charleton heston, for example, and i thought his acting skills carried over pretty well into it. Another was sense and sensiblities and while it was a tinsy bit amateurish i thought the kind of silliness it had was very reminscent of the way parents try to give unique voices to all the characters
You should look around on youtube a bit, they have a bunch of playlists and stuff to choose from, maybe you'll find one you like
