Myself I'm more grounded in reality when I think of Jesus as a person, One of Us. I reckon the Church, in exalting his divinity, has played itself because now he's commonly not even thought to have even existed.
The thing is though if you do understand these concepts and then apprehend that this entity of Logos *can* be embodied, it's absolutely rational to say that Jesus did embody God. But then you'd need to understand that God would only inhabit and be bound within Jesus' body spiritually, so to speak.
I wish I could adhere to Christianity. I am moved by it, often to weeping, but I've been moved equally by Islam and Judaism.
