>>19538003>Alex knows how to entertain and put on a show, that's very clear. He seemed really low energy this season, after the live show he had nothing else. The show was irreparably fucked by that point, the fish were way too burned out and disinterested in continuing onward. Tay was basically in her final stages of putting effort into the show, Shinji was already waffling on quitting, TJ was just idling along and slowly beginning his arc of just staying away from everyone while painting the attic. Trish started going melancholy because she was told she was being eliminated no matter what. The production crew had abused the fish way too fucking hard and even Danye was in low spirits and barely active after his time in the jail cell.
>>19538007>Glad I'm not the only one, I was a lot more invested in this season than the first but it's changed my view on Sam and crew. They had a huge hand in the way it all played out.The cast is the reason most people got so invested into S2, when they had the full roster the show was fucking dynamite even after "the reveal" that pissed Sam off. Its only when they burned the fish so fucking fast and got pared down to 4 that the show really exposed how fucking inept and unprepared the production crew really was and how hard they had been getting carried. I place the dramatic derailment moment to when Jimmy got eliminated. Tay, Trish, TJ, and Shinji were good fish but they couldn't fucking carry the show for 4 weeks on their backs alone, eventually the fish just had every conversation they possibly could have and became sick of dealing with each other, and dealing with idiotic demands from production, something the audience immediately noticed.
