>>16022795Here in particular? Most likely not, have only spent three or so months in it, I think. To imageboards, sure, probably for the rest of my life as long as they're around. But it's easy to think so now, who knows how the state of things are gonna be in the future.
Although I've already been using them way too long and too extensively, so, I just don't see myself dropping it anytime soon. Maybe one day I'll suddenly stop, or maybe not.
>I would only post here to kill time during my classesImageboards are extremely handy for that, yeah, I obviously do the same myself. It's just a bit infectious, I suppose.
The way you got into it is because you had fun at first because of the honeymoon phase that I mentioned, and it became routine for you to check it during class because there was just nothing else to do. Even when you start not getting entertained by it, you keep refreshing and checking threads because it's what keeps your mind occupied for the moment. Then that routine your brain is used to easily feeds into outside of school, and, there you go, you just use this place way too much now.
I guess at the moment you're just in a loop of having it feel fresh about only for a day or so, then getting burned out and growing to hate it again. It just makes you realize sooner or later that, oh right, this is still the same shithole that I dislike. That same burnout is what I'm feeling as well, can't say I'm not sick of the majority of the people myself.
The difference is that you leave and give yourself time before coming back, while I don't really bother to do that cause I'm just a bit too attached to using imageboards, I kill way too much time with them.
So, I suppose the way you're doing it is actually pretty good. There's nothing wrong with having a few hours of fun with it every once in a while, then going back to forgetting about it. Probably the best way to use imageboards, so, great going on your part. Character limit.
