Realize that the universe, as you have perceived it, from the time you first became conscious, has seemingly served you and you alone. When you die, to you, the universe will cease to exist. It will be like before the time you were born.
So don't think too much about life after you. It should be as real to you as an alien civilization in distant galaxies.
