also another cool thing about css i forgot to talk about
the end-of-round mvp stuff, though not really the mvp award but the random event comment
whatever the fuck happened to those theyre cool
like when someone gets a kill while flashbanged or gets killed with their knife out it says at the end of the round that it happened to mock them. its such a little thing but its amusing, having the game acknowledge it when you do something cool or when it points out something you didnt realize in the moment like killing someone with the last round in your mag, its a nice thing to have in there. it just had soul basically, i think the feel it gives me is like how quake bots talk and have their attitudes and shit. idk why anybody wouldnt like having it in their game
and for some reason they ditched it altogether in csgo. i rly dont get it. maybe because they just didnt wanna hurt peoples feelings by making fun of them for dying in dumb ways? i mean i really dont know why the fuck anybody would get bothered by that buts its the closest thing to a reason i can think of
the thing is that, they already had it in csgo at the beginning but after however many updates and ui redesigns they did away with it. theres still an mvp award, but its just boring shit like "x got this many kills" rather than "x brought a knife to a gunfight"
on top of that i think it was extended from what css had too, there were a bunch of unique triggers that really couldve been funny to read after a round. but after all that they just decided nope we dont need it. really sucks how badly valve raped cs's style in every single way imaginable, and people think it only started happening recently, this was as far as back several years ago lol
and whats fucking dumb is that they brought it back already in a way
now i think after a match ends they give a bunch of titles for whoever did the most bla bla, and they make fun of u there too
so wtf was the point
just add the old end of round comments again
