Bitcoin is by design deflationary and self-defeating, eventually causing itself to become irrelevant as either expansionary or elastic to promote growth or productivity as it's scarcity increases the ability to aquire exponentially diminishing while demanding greater and greater inputs of time, energy and resources to aquire less and less.
This is a perfect opportunity for TPB to leverage consent and greed to demolish the currency systems while maintaining the illusion of playing to the desires of the masses.

No such thing as privacy after the consensus is reached in it's entirety. How long would it take to reach this point though? For consensus to permeate all societies, nations and peoples? And then how fast would it's devastation take before people were begging to be saved from it?
