It's kinda bony but not THAT bony for a river fish and honestly i have never considered having to pull some bones out of your mouth an issue (you can also fillet and debone it but in 99% of cases i'm too lazy for it and i'm not very confident with my fillet skills, i have only ever did it to picrelated, but they are very easy to fillet, plus there very abundant so it doesn't really matter if you fuck up)
