For 2,500 years Indians have practiced arranged marriage. Well over 90% of all marriages in India are arranged, and the ones that aren’t come with heavy scrutiny from the parents involved.
Because of this long standing cultural tradition, there is no Indian cultural concept of dating or courtship. I mean, they have one, but it’s basically in place so the bride doesn’t kill herself. It’s not the same idea as Western courtship.
There’s a cultural clash within the Indian diaspora due to feminist ideals and modern courtship. Indian women in the west go to college then fuck off to another city, sleep around, date random men, and basically partake in the modern idea of dating. They don’t abide by arranged marriage.
Meanwhile, Indian men don’t have the same ability. They go to college, sure, but because they’re culturally Indian they have no mechanism for “picking up girls.” They haven’t had a need to for literally thousands of years. They don’t even have the ability to talk to girls. It’s really pathetic, but they can’t be blamed. To them, asking some bitch lasagna to show bobs and vagene is perfectly reasonable.
