I will be reposting this in /pol/
:
From a position of
2678 ft above sea level
and 1900 ft above ground level
viewing an object at
1608 ft above sea level
from a distance of 91.3 miles
At 90 miles with ball diameter of 7918 miles the curve drop is 5402.06 feet
Elevation difference is 1070 ft
4332 ft remain
Somehow an object that is supposed to be 1608 ft above sea level appears to be 4332 ft taller. Suppose it was only the very top of the object was that which was observed(this is not the observation, but just for fun), so subtract 1607 ft from the 4332 remaining ft and you have still 2725 ft.
Even if you factor in the 1900 ft above ground level, still 825 ft of physical ball earth should be obscuring the object to be behind the horizon. The object should not be visible. If the earth was a ball 7918 miles in diameter the object would not have been visible.
Somehow this object was visible. It should have been below the physical horizon. Go look for yourself. If you just believe what I tell you it's no better than any other appeal to authority.
