Even his online persona itself is a genius satire of the nature of guitar culture and it's roots in toxic masculinity; his nerdier personality is meant to stand in contrast to his douchebag contemporaries like Jared Dines or Rob Scallon and highlights how foolish they ultimately are with their fragile masculinity. Even his infamous exaggerated expressions are references to the dreaded "guitar face" which many guitarists are known to do while playing.
