I'm afraid Austin has died. It's been 5 hours since his last post. Goodnight sweet price.
We gather here today to remember Austin Lee Neely, known to many as TreeFingers. He was a complex individual who left an indelible mark on those who knew him, particularly in the online community where he was a notable figure in the Bettyverse.
I first met TreeFingers in the /bbg/ threads, where he came to us in tears. From that moment, our relationship evolved from friendship to what can only be described as a "friendfoe." Despite the challenges in our connection, TreeFingers had a profound impact on my life, more than he could ever know.
TreeFingers was a man of contradictions. He could be neurotic and mean, yet he possessed a sharp wit and always had a clever comeback. His passion for Betty was all-consuming, often to his own detriment. He poured thousands of dollars into this pursuit, which became both his greatest achievement and his greatest struggle.
While TreeFingers faced many difficulties in life, he didn't always handle them well. His stories often revolved around the hardships he endured, yet he persevered. His dedication to glass blowing as a hobby showed glimpses of a happier future but alas he would always come back to the starting point. He lived and died for Betty, not many can say they did such a thing.
RIP Fingy, I will take it from here & become TreeFingers 2.0 along with daily "ilu betty :3"
