One way of hearing it is 'God literally said these words'.
A second is 'everything in the Bible is literal, without symbolism or metaphor'.
The second group is definitely wrong, because Jesus said pic related and more about this, but the people who think it is all literal do not read the Bible anyway, just quotes that fit their assumptions.
