They're not bringing down society, the society was already brought down by lack of natural selection. This egalitarian system of "every man gets a woman" all that has accomplished is that every poor trait or defect is guaranteed to be passed on and spread more and more every generation.
And you can claim also good traits get spread around, but problem is that good traits are rare. That's why it's good that women are picky, it's hard job find good traits among so many "mutations" that become burden increasingly as the deformity of body and/or mind is allowed to survive.
