Can you not see that it is right? That all men should follow it? It doesn't matter where it comes from or even if Jesus was not a real person (although he was).
Even if you don't believe in God, don't you hunger for virtue? Dont you hunger for meaning? Doesnt this world disgust you with it's shallow evils?
Hell is the least important part of this thing. I don't think about it much at all. I don't know if I will be saved, but I know that I want to be like Jesus Christ. I want to be a good man and help people. It is not the stick that goads me, but the sweet Grace of God.
