One thing I've noticed is that despite all terrible flaws that women have.
Men can't help but to put them on a high pedestal.
You see this pattern in many different cultures, religions.
Where most of them have high reverence and importance towards goddesses, more so than gods. It becomes especially more apparent with an example like Athena.
A woman that is the goddess of wisdom...
The very thing that most if not all women completely lack.
Then there's Bellona a goddess of war...
Something that women are completely unsuited towards, both physically and mentally. Going as far as to being a complete liability in the field of battle because of their very nature. They only start wars, their not capable of fighting one.
There's plenty of other examples of women embodying the very things that are complete opposite to their nature in these cultures and religions.
And then there's the catholics... They're suppose to worship the great I am... And yet they choose to put more emphasis and importance on Mary. On a woman and proceed to borderline worship her, depicting her in such grand fashions. While at the same time depicting Jesus as weak and helpless compared to her...
And this isn't just seen in cultures and religions.
You see this pattern in media as well.
Anime for example
Where a bunch of them have women on a high pedestal, embodying masculine traits. Traits that are completely opposite to them.
Why all this?
What is driving man to be enthralled, even when they know the truth?
Why can't men resist the allure of putting women on such high pedestals?
Are we all just slaves to this desire?
Is it truly possible for us to be free from these shackles of this curse?
The curse that all began with the garden of Eden?
