For example, my government recently passed a new law that forces any person who bought or inherited a house/condo to refurbish it to be as energy-efficient as possible. Meaning new roof, new insulation, new windows, new heater etc. and they're coming up with new stuff like this every month. I'm guessing they're going to triple property tax as well by next year. There is a reason why over 50% of the german population are renting, it's simply impossible to buy because nobody knows what the fuck will happen next.
Another example. A couple of years ago the government had promoted pellet heating systems as "good for the environment" therefore a lot of people switched to these. Recently they revoked that statement and deemed pellet heating systems as a "climate killer" and added new taxes on said heating systems. It's a scam. Everything is a scam.
As for marriage/having children, I'm not gonna take a 60% chance to lose everything. But nobody is going to read my blogpost anyway, I just needed to vent a bit.
