We turn now to the matter of the ongoing audit, which seems to be reaching something of a crescendo. To the surprise of many, it was none other than Winter Girl who came out into this very ring and declared herself standing on the side of the audit. One can only wonder what manner of contract these auditors must have held over poor Winter Girl’s head, but nonetheless her actions in throwing hot -- well, not hot, maybe lukewarm is a better description; maybe that’s worse? -- all over Amy Flame have seen this match come about tonight.
For her part, Amy seemed as confused as the rest of us when Winter Girl called her out for an attack on Carmody Jefferson -- we all know it was Lightning Nika, it was broadcast on this station! So with that uncertainty hanging over head, there is no doubt that Flame will be fighting for something else here tonight: her custom made, white, Divine Angels ring jacket that has been permanently stained by that cocoa bombardment. In a backstage comment, Flame was quoted as saying, “It’s ruined so there’s no getting it dry cleaned,” and we here at the commentary desk have to agree. It was a nice jacket, senselessly destroyed.
