>>21027321>Even in highly technical fields like engineering, a bachelors literally means nothing. The hell you on about? There is a shortage of professions like engineers, doctors, scientists, etc because most people honestly are too dumb to even make it through a four year undergraduate program. A college graduate makes more money on average than h.s. educated person, even a music degree holder. Probably because someone with an undergrad, even a shitty one, has more drive, more skills, and more ability to solve complex problems than the average H.S. grad or GED holder.
>Inb4 pointless anecdotal of "one guy I know, has a PhD in rocket engineering and double majored in nuerosurgery and he's a homeless drug addict and muh uncle owns a plumbing business in Sneedsville, OH and makes 6,000,000,000 dollars a year"I know a bunch of uneducated mouth breathers will storm this thread to trash on educated men and I just want to let all of you know that statistics is a discipline seemingly beyond your capabilities but nonetheless here is a source, for reference the average H.S. graduate makes 42,590/year.
