Think of it like Euro populations:
Germany: 83 million people
France: 67 million people
Italy: 61 million people
UK: 66 million people
Spain: 47 million people
Greece: 11 million people
The populations of these countries COMBINED is roughly equivalent to the population of the U.S.
Euros might not realize how different each region, and even each state, can be.
