>>18827820you know another book thats quite fascinating really. Viktor Frankl's "Mans search for meaning". Whats interesting is that Frankl, a jew, who was interred at Auschwitz, for three full years, never mentions gas chambers, systemic organized killings, or the usual jew fantasies. He is however also a trained physchiatrist, which gives him not only the ideas and training of someone who is highly educated, but also insight into the minds of people, both the prisoners and gaurds.
Now Viktor does talk about forced labour, starvation conditions, appaling lack of hygeine, lack of medical care and brutal treatment. He also talks extensively how these conditions deteriorated rapidly, and disease claimed many lives, as germany began losing the war.
