The fact that it is a pseudoidea does not mean necessarily that it doesn't exist, in fact, his work also implicitly refutes arguments against God's existence. It's just that, as God's is not even an idea, it can't be proven nor refuted through reason and it is therefore a matter of faith.
When I still see le epic atheists with glasses and science vs God proponents on the internet I can do nothing but cringe, since God's dismissal as an idea within the limits of human reason is one of the few results in philosophy that I deem consistent.
