>>10775974I like wind turbines and solar panels BUT they aren't a be end all solution to air pollution. For one where the fuck are you going to put them? Most are placed in deforested areas plus the minerals mind and the steal forged to build them also cause pollution to manufacture, of course long term they're good but not perfect.
If anything a mix of green energy and allowing cities to die quickly rather than slowly via taxation and welfare despite not producing many native jobs, also the fact that American cities in particular are doomed from grid lock and corruption. Also keeping them lit requires a fuck ton more power than some rural home in bum fuck nowhere.
Smaller distant and self reliant communities both agriculturally and green energy wise mixed with semi nomadic peoples many former refugee's of the inner city are the future whether they be hippy dippy liberals or militant conservatives doesn't matter no one will want to remain in the inner city because it will become the unsustainable desert of the late double twenties. Plus we'll see a cultural movement to reconnect with nature as a whole and values less based on consumerism.
When exactly? Well it's kinda happening already but slowly.
