Chinese anons, can you help me understand something? I see users from Hong Kong posting here sometimes. How is it that your government doesn't allow access to websites like Wikipedia, Google, Facebook, Dropbox, etc., but there is no problem browsing 4chan? Do Chinese citizens oppose surveillance measures taken by the government? It seems like some Orwellian scenario, but nobody discusses it... I am not criticizing, but I would like to hear authentic opinions. In the US, people lose their shit over any minor invasion of privacy, but in China, even the police are involved in restricting blacklisted communication and information.
