V is actually Satan.
We know this because in the fucking graphic novel his very first words are "Allow me to introduce myself I'm a man of wealth and taste" which is the opening line of Sympathy For the Devil. He later outright states "I am the Devil himself, come to do the Devil's work"
The writer of V for Vendetta is a Satanist who worships the demon Dagon aka Azazel, for inspiration for his works. He has literally said this in interview.
V, like Satan, is imprisoned, tortured and burned. V itself is a Satanic symbol used in Satanism being as it's literally a downwards arrow signifying his fall.
But what does V do in V for Vendetta?
He tempts Evey (i.e. EVE) to rebel against the theocrat Adam Sulter (i.e. ADAM).
This couldn't be more fucking obvious if it beat you over the fucking head but no, it's about buildings and Tartaria and some such specious fucking bullshittery.
The person pursuing V throughout the story is Creedy (i.e. JESUS, the man of the Creed, geddit?)
