They didn't submit to god and the universe, they didn't pray but rather communed, not hunched and with closed hands but standing with an open embrace. They didn't flee from danger and combat, they made those part of their development, and that was more then enough to conquer the architects of christianity, the jews, and raze their temple to the ground. Their only mistake was in taking in slaves, who were unlike them and let themselves be turned to cattle by the toungue of the jew, witch is his only asset. If you think sustaining an easy to manipulate flock is sustainable even short term, I encourage you to take a stroll in 60% muslim London, and go ask in a local church what they think of the invaders.
