>>20746251>Yeshuas sacrifice freed us from the go to heaven laws as works no longer apply.calling him yeshuah does not give you more credibility.
how does jesus killing himself get rid of the law, which in the text thereof says that these laws are for all time, statutes in perpetuity. god genocided the caananites for human sacrifice, please read your bible, the good part at the start.
the day of atonement exists for a reason, it's the day that the sins of israel are forgiven.
and the laws of the torah don't even mention going to heaven or not, it mentions blessings and curses. half of the tribes stood on one mountain reciting the blessings, and one half stood on another peak reciting the curses. what happens in the afterlife is an untestable hypothesis. what happens on earth is observable, and that is what the commandments were made for, how to live on earth with others in harmony and love of God. nowhere in the torah, at least as far as i know, does it present the threat of hell for disobedience, or heaven for obedience. the resurrection will be physical, not some ethereal plane, too.
God also said the law is easy to follow, deut 30:11
>11 Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. 12 It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” 13 Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” 14 No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.
