I just want the rest of the world to adopt Capitalism, go through their economic booms, prosper just as well as us, and live in peace. Why does every country have to be raped by the newest power? Why is this the way humanity works? I thought humanity was more sophisticated than this at this point. My great-grandparents didn't die in world wars to be fucked over by the newest countries with factories. I didn't come into this world to suddenly fall into the hands of nationalistic buffoons. They don't know what they're doing to civilization as a whole, just like Europe didn't when it was setting itself up for the world wars by snatching colonies all over the world. I literally pray to God that the West isn't as weak as it seems.
