Big Bob, if you have pics of any of your more meaningful fossils or if the boxes they're lurking in are easily accessible I'd love to see some pics. Besides a Carboniferous shark tooth in shale matrix I exposed a bit better with tools the extent of my prep work experience is soaking rocks in vinegar, HCl or Oxalic acid if they're iron stained, I've never done it meticulously working on small areas. I'd be interested in improving my toolkit and techniques and acids/chemicals if you have any recommendations, the stuff I like working with most are the wide variety of glaciated coral fossils found walking creeks in the Midwest
