I never forged the blade but only honed the steel blank in shape.
Then I heat treated it under guidance of a person (Matias K) who really knew what he was doing.

I also made the cutting board in the pic.

That knife and the cutting board are my main tools in my kitchen.

Listen, with those Tupperware peelers you can slice all sorts of root veggies into equally thin slices in no time. Much much much better than with any knife.

Pic related is my Santoku I made for myself. That knife and those Tupperware peelers are the most used blades in my kitchen.
