>>21324469oh i thought you meant that in general owning a lot of books can seem like posing if you're not like a professor of science or something but yeah obviously you shouldn't buy a thousand of random books just to fill out a really big shelf, that would be just silly but in general books and bookshelves are great pieces of décor that mostly don't cost too much but still can say a lot about the people that inhabit a certain living space and even the way you stack your books or the shelf itself like is it some slick plastic modern one or is it wooden and bulky can and does convey a lot of personality, it's like displaying your anime figurines but more subtle and more classy i guess and books are obviously way more utilitarian than just a strictly decorative figurine
