It really is that impactful. If the circumstances are right and you keep striving towards insight you'll experience Kensho. And that, or maybe something else, will change everything. And that's amazing
But, and that's actually true, dangerous knowledge exists. There are shifts in perspective that can ruin your life. And I'm not talking about weird magic-occult stuff. Just philosophy.
But that's mostly eastern philosophies and Buddhism. Kōans dip into that, but delve deeper whenever you feel ready.
