So I guess I should come up with concepts for my Batman rpg game right away but I don’t even know where to start, I think I would probably agonize over the concepts for all the characters I would really want to make a novel and unique designs for the characters that helps it stand out as “my Batman” and I did that before already where I wanted to come up with my own version of Batman and instead I decided just to make my own character since my ideas really turned the character on their head and was different, I would come at it like some type of writer, like okay what are we going for here? I think I would sort of like to somehow combine different versions of Batman together, like the comics and movies and see what the result would be. But then I wonder if it would still be comic book Batman or if it would lend itself more to the movies, I would really want to keep it comic book-y. It would be cool because you could have the whole bat family as playable characters in an rpg. I guess the only problem would be leveling up too much, since the main characters powers would increase how would that work when they don’t have any powers…? What types of enemies would they be fighting on a type of sliding scale how would that work, especially the end bosses, they would have to almost like gain super powers and become like gods because that’s usually what happens in RPGs, oh no, what would I do? Oh noes.
I wonder if you could just make it really gritty if that would work. The better idea would probably be to make a general justice league or avengers game instead, but then the puzzles and gameplay dungeons wouldn’t make as much sense. But they really fit Batman.
