>>19362946Carmody frowns, but concludes that Andi's words were accidental and not a dig at her.
>"I guess. What even happened here?"Andi shrugs.
>"Little Beaver set some yoga mats on fire again."Andi looks over her shoulder to Little Beaver.
>"Hey Beav. If you're gonna set shit on fire you really oughtta do it outside, man. If you start a fire in here, it's just gonna make water come out the sprinklers and cause a bad scene, y'know?"Carmody rolls her eyes.
>"Hey, never mind that now. Have you seen Coach Ash?"Andi laughs and claps her hands together.
>"Have I seen her?? Hell yeah! Short hair, into cars, was in the B1. What about her?"Carmody:
>"No, have you seen her here TODAY?"Andi:
>"I dunno man, I think I forgot. Is she supposed to be?"Carmody sighs impatiently.
>"Right. Seeing as you pretty much never take lessons, it's not important to you if she's here or not, right?"Andi looks around.
>"I dunno, the place is pretty trashed. Doubt there are any lessons today. Maybe she's helping clean up. Sure you don't wanna help?"Carmody starts to protest, but it's not worth her bother. She doesn't see Ash Romero right away, so she grabs a mop and a bucket and starts mopping the floor of the Dojo clean. On the other side of the room, away from Andi. As she works, she looks around for Ash Romero. And she looks around at the sorry state of the Dojo, the water damage and the ruined equipment, and sighs.
She loved the Dojo. She still does. But was it always this big of a shithole? Was there maybe a little truth to what Priscilla said, that this place was holding her back?
