What sucks about pirating is that you don't get to keep track of your hours played. The price of not wanting to pay any price, I guess.
I'd blog about my day, but there's nothing I didn't already blog about. That uneventful.
Oh, I did help my little sister play Minecraft, that was nice. She's played it on and off since the age of five, but it's just that she never ever touched survival. Had to show her what a crafting table is. Kind of sad I didn't go over to play with her and only helped out a bit, I was too caught up with what I was doing. Tomorrow I'll do it.
All these new versions of Minecraft have the figuring out how to craft something part missing entirely. You don't sit there placing random stuff and seeing if something comes out of it anymore, there's just these tabs you can open that show you everything you can craft with the resources you've got. I think it initially got put in for consoles to make the game more accessible over there? Reaching at my memory, that might be wrong. Then mobile, and it finally came to PC. I suppose that it's a fair enough feature to have, but, it's still a shame. The kids playing the game now just won't get to experience it the same, you know?
I remember at single digit age, I was really happy about figuring out how to make a wooden sword by myself. If there was something telling me how to, then I don't think I would've gotten the same amount of excitement.
Plus, there were times where you had to sit there for a couple or so minutes trying to remember just how to craft that one thing. Sure, everybody ended up looking up recipes anyway, but I don't know, I appreciate it more that way. Maybe that's just me.
I guess it's alright to have some mercy on the six-year-old retards playing the game for the first time. They're the only ones that can have any fun with Minecraft anyway.
