>>20508608BTW Suteans. Sodom was called Sittim, the plural Semitic suffix implies two cities. The Sitt implies Sutean/Sethian. Gomorrah was Amorru, the Amorite capital and the Amorites obviously survived and lived just fine. They were also known as Omri and Khumri, the Assyrian name for the Cimmerians/Scythians. We know the Suteans and Amorites originated near the Persian Gulf and migrated to Caanan due to some sort of catastrophe. Probably the same one that buried Southern Arabian cities in the desert and dried up lakes and also caused abandonment or the Indus Civilization. Of course, the biblical mythos places this event near "tar" fields (oil fields) and claims the Dead Sea was created by it (which burbs asphalt so it could have been an oil field at one point). The Dead Sea and Jordan River are part of an earthquake fault running through the Lebanon mountains which caused various catastrophes. There are meteor fragments all over Arabia as well as many craters and volcanoes in Eastern Syria.

Some say that Sodom is the place of pasture of the great Seth, which is Gomorrah. But others (say) that the great Seth took his plant out of Gomorrah and planted it in the second place, to which he gave the name 'Sodom' (The Gospel of the Egyptians)In Egyptian Mythology, Seth tried to sodomize his nephew Horus.
