i'm anticipating his clear and concise summary
hypothetically the reason to do it would be to get out of taking classes that i already covered very similar material for before transferring since that'd just be a huge waste. i was only 2 or 3 semesters away from graduating before so if the system was actually reasonable it'd be the difference between going back for 1 year or 4 even assuming i was still doing computers.
as expected though they catch you on a bunch of technical bullshit to say that classes shouldn't technically count. ie "ooh see you took 101: into to programming but here our 101 class is intro to computer science so you'll definitely have to take that" or "ah see we have a required class that covers X and Y but you took one class that covers X and one class that covers Y so what we're gonna do is count both those classes you took as electives and then make you take our class with less detailed overviews of those topics you know already"
i could probably get out of a lot more classes than they're telling me i can initially if i were to argue about it, but i'm pretty relieved to see that the system is just as shitty as expected otherwise i wouldn't have half the reason to abandon computers for another degree like i want to anyway
>>10307252that's simply the way these things are
hmm i see that's good then
i don't know what this one is
goodnight
