me personally, id rather imbibe in things that are true, not corrupted jewish interpretations, imagining or reimaginings of those things.
why not just follow the religion of the Ainur and Eru Eluvitar? is it because they take place in Middle Earth, and not Earth? would they be more true if their story took place on Earth instead? if the character names changed? or would they still not be implicit to our innate reality? and that is why the Bible is a joke for anything more than entertainment.
