The Catholic Church was toppled for the first and only time in its existence in 1945. The Triple Crown of St Peter signifying the sovereignty of the Vatican and the Church itself was seized and now sits as war booty in the NY UN Headquarters. Vatican 2 and the jewification of scripture, rites, and teachings of the Church as well as removal of restrictions on who could become priests etc resulting in the modern shitshow it is.
It is more than that though. The Vatican was still a power in its own right and its economic strength was forcibly taken along with all of its political influence it afforded them. Now we live in age of the final defeat of the Church of Christ and victory of the Jew over him on Earth, with 1453 marking their first major victory over the old Roman Empire and its powerful families, and 1945 the second half and total rendering of their powerbase.
