You have to be at least a midwit to be a programmer, and this is what some of the best midwits are capable of: cargoculting. And wasting of resources and completely missing the point. And a visibly desperate change of setting, look, our factory builder is so different!
If it wasn't for overall quality of visual design though, nobody would even notice it, everything else is just bad.
I'd say midwits should be barred from influencing any kind of audience by any means. It's like they exist to add complexity in the wrong place.
