Sea peoples not sure.
Why does the Piri Reis map show Antarctica connected to South America? It's incredibly accurate. I believe there is another map, maybe made by Drake, that shows Antarctica without ice. Both made referencing earlier maps, I know that the Piri Reis map references at least 20 other maps some dating to the time of Alexander the Great.
It's possible the Sea Peoples weren't just roving bronze age pirate congolomerates. Not entirely sure. Nobody really is.
It's entirely possible they were from Greekoid islands in the Atlantis somewhere, remnants from Atlantis, that only voyaged out to the Mediterranean and Egypt out of desperation, as their ancestral homeland finally sunk due to rising sea levels, or volcanic/tectonic activity, or a combination of the two and/or other factors.
They were very advanced and very strong. If they hadn't been whittled down through ransacking everything until they got to Memphis they might have actually taken Egypt.
They also could have been Naval scythians that were indeed pirate conglomerates.
