>What makes mormons different from Christians?Well Christianity doesn't account for priesthood like at all. The Vatican and Catholics have a defacto hierarchy of voting for the seats of spiritual power but it's mostly at the mercy of man. Mormons believe that when John the Baptist baptized Jesus he gave him the priesthood which later enabled him to perform miracles. This priesthood ordination would later fall out of favor with the Christians and the catholics would be the last ones to ordain saints. Mormons believe that WE are the saints thus the Latter Day Saints addendum to our church name. We ordain people with priesthood which is kinda like making them like Jesus with the ability to perform SMALL miracles (blessings). We also have a different structure for how heaven works. There's multiple kingdoms of heaven the lowest which everyone who accepted the idea of God existing gets into. Only the people who completely reject the idea of gods existence don't get into the Terrestrial kingdom which is like Earth only paradise.
Those who reject this idea go to outer darkness which is literally nothing.
Lastly we differ with what you can do with your body. You have to treat it like a temple in that you can't put anything into it that would harm it (drugs, booze, cigarettes, caffeine, etc.) if you do then you can't get into the higher kingdoms. The highest of which you get to reside in the same realm of God and get to create universes and shit like he does.
