but anyway, with the kind of future i had in my mind , you wouldnt even have the time and opportunity to learn a new language once youre over there, whatevers going to happen to you because of you practically being an insane hobo is going to happen too soon for you to go around picking up on how people talk and stuff
imo it is also kind of fetching it that you would learn how to communicate in a matter of a day
language does become harder to pick up on as you get older, and i guess that varies with everybody but still, you or i probably wouldnt have the easiest time doing so
but even if you can, my bet is that you wouldnt even last a day for that to be able to happen because of how unforgiving the far future would be to someone from this time, imagine some indian native from centuries ago being transported to now, its hard to think of yourself as that but it might end up being all you are when we go that far ahead into the future
i mean even now we look at people just from the wild west as weird ass motherfuckers that we cant get into the mindset of, and thats relatively not even that long ago compared to what we're thinking of
anyway, or just that day wouldnt exactly be calm enough for you to go around and learn the new language thats around, if the future is anything more than basically a kindergarten then i doubt he would be able to walk around and integrate
which i dont think itll be anything like in that book, cause even if technology moves incredibly far ahead humans have a natural and built in will to learn about things and not just be left in the dark, even if theyre very comfortable as they are
its not like throughout time people didnt have the opportunity to just sit back and relax but went on ahead and invented new things anyway
