The morning after her big debut, Carmody Jefferson takes the time to shout out some of her new WWA friends on social media.
With a victory over Sue Plex in the books, it will be time Carmody to assess the next step in her career. Having overcome the challenge put before her by Lightning Nika, she suspects that the next time she goes to the Divine Mansion, she should find the way open..... but she feels she wants more than that now. She's started to make her own friends, and earn success on her own terms, and sharing in what Colby has is no longer enough for her.
There is also the matter of reconciliation with Colby. She had acted a little harshly, not knowing that the recently-deceased wrestlers were one of Colby's good friends and her mother. Carmody's own feelings about the unfair advantages and preferential treatment Colby's gotten in her life will have to be set aside to be addressed later. Whatever else, they are still sisters. If Colby is grieving, Carmody will be there for her if she can.
There is also the matter of training in the Dojo. Despite her confidence in her own physicality and athleticism, Carmody is not completely blind to her own rookie mistakes in her first match. She has to tighten up her game. And a legendary veteran wrestler, Ash Romero, has been seen offering pointers to some of her fellow trainees from time to time. That could prove to be valuable to Carmody's own development as well, if the timing lines up.
All in all, there is a lot to do in the week ahead.
