I could go to Walmart for my groceries and save a few bucks, but they source their produce from prison labor and I had the Waldens. So I'm willing to spend a little extra at the smaller chain grocery store. 1$ is more expensive to my King Soopers than it is to Walmart. With such slim profit margins, on the whole, there are other factors at play. To reduce it to "greed" is counterproductive.
